CV:
Film Scoring
Live orchestral performance with cartoon-style music.
I composed a playful, cartoon-inspired score synced precisely to the visuals, performed live by the Universidad de los Andes orchestra, a fun and technical challenge.
String quartet for a 3D animated film.
An expressive and intimate score recorded in studio with a live quartet. This collaboration with Daniela Aldana and Diego Mendoza (film-making students) earned awards and continues on the festival circuit.
Poetic and expressive score.
In collaboration with filmmaker Daniela Aldana, this project brings to life a short film made out of sand inspired in Piedra de Sol by Octavio Paz. I composed a dynamic and emotionally rich score that mirrors the intensity, rhythm, and symbolism of the visuals, blending lyrical themes with harmonic tension to reflect the depth of the poem and the film's powerful imagery.
I had the honor of participating in the soundtrack production for Juan Felipe Estrada's graduation project at Universidad Tadeo Lozano in Bogotá. Alongside my university colleague, Ana Sofía Londoño, we composed and produced the entire musical score. This project presented an exciting creative challenge, allowing us to explore a wide range of musical styles, which were skillfully combined in an immersive 5.1 surround sound mix.

Reimagining music in a classic suspense scene.
I replaced the original score with my own to explore how music can shift the emotional tone, blending mystery, romance, and danger in a carefully timed composition.
Rescoring a silent scene to enhance emotion.
I composed original music for a scene that originally had no music, focusing on highlighting emotional tension and subtle character dynamics through orchestration and timing.

I composed music for a commemorative video honoring actor Xavier Dolan, presented at the FICCI (Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias), one of the most prestigious film festivals in Colombia. The score was crafted to reflect Dolan’s acting style while adding a unique musical identity to the tribute.
Audiovisuals
How can Gen Z start building wealth? This claymation-style animated short answers that question by exploring the importance of early investing. Through a visually engaging narrative, the video makes complex topics like mutual funds simple and accessible. I produced this entire video independently, covering all roles from writer and animator to sound designer.
